Dear Diary,

Today it is my dog's birthday. It is 9 years old today.

And I just couldn't wait at midnight to give it a hug, a kiss and wish it a long happy life with me in it.

I also cried a little while looking in its eyes. It looks like it actually understood that I meant it.
